Santa will be taking video chats in his Grotto in The Mall Maidstone from Wednesday 2nd December until Christmas Eve.

The Grotto is open every day until Christmas Eve.

Oh yes! Santa is safely working from home. But as there is a strict no-fly restriction up here in the North Pole, my very clever IT-Elf, Fleti has come up with a Santa Special Satellite System to let me see and talk with all the little children that visit my Grotto in The Mall. But rest assured that Frosty Sparklepants, Elf & Safety Officer in The North Pole has given me permission to fly on Christmas Eve, to be able to deliver all the presents.
This year we are including one 6" x 4" photo with each visit.
One child is £10
Two children £15
Three children £20
Four children £25
Five children £30

There is a restriction of six people allowed in the grotto at any one time. So if you have 5 children, we can only let one parent/guardian in
Yes. To the letter. The safety of everyone is paramount.
You will be required to:
*cancel your appointment if you display any symptoms of Covid-19
*wear a mask (unless medically exempt),
*hand sanitise before and after you have been in the grotto,
*please try not to touch anything in the grotto,
*please observe the 2m social distancing rule.

Your on-line booking details will be passed to the NHS Track & Trace should the necessity arise.
Yes. This year, because of the Covid-19 restrictions, we will operate a pre-booked appointments system.
We will still have some walk-in or canceled appointments to fill, so its worth popping by or a phone call. But a "walk-in" space cannot be guaranteed. Please note that there will be no queuing this year, so you will not be able to just turn up to see Santa.
Please CLICK HERE and it will take you to the booking site. You will need to enter your details, your child or children's names and ages and then pay. You will also be able to put a note for Santa if you wish him to say something special to your child. (eg. Doing very well in school this year and been helping Mum & Dad a lot by doing chores).
Yes of course. You can change it easily if there's more that 48 hours notice.
Your confirmation email will have a link to your account, where you can make alterations. If you have COVID-19 symptoms, please email or call us immediately. Please do not attend the grotto.

Yes of course. Each child will receive and age-appropriate gift from Santa when they come to see him which this year he has left with the Photo Elves.
The Photo Elves are in a shop unit next to the Grotto ready and waiting to show you your beautiful photos. This is also where you will collect your gift from Santa.
Yes, Santa loves to see babies and he has a lovely selection of baby gifts for them. We will of course take a lovely photo of your first visit to meet Santa. (One photo is included in the entry price)
Of course Nans Granddads, Aunts and Uncles are more than welcome too, as long as your family bubble is no more than 6 people. And of course, only the children pay.
Please don't worry! Santa will do his best to engage your little one in a friendly chat. Of course any tips on what he might chat to them about, you can leave in our comment s box. eg. If your child loves Peppa Pig or cars or has been very good this year - it all helps Santa. But running the Grotto as a video chat, children are a lot more relaxed and often interact with Santa a lot more that they might have!
Photos start from £6 each and are printed straight away for you to take home with you. A full price list and the different deals can be found if you CLICK HERE.
Sorry, all children must be accompanied by and adult when visiting the Grotto.
No. Not without your consent. Because of GDPR, there is no on-line re-ordering of photos. You can of course buy anything you like from the Photo Elves after your visit. There is one 6" x 4" photo included in the entry fee this year.
Adults bringing their children to see Santa do not pay. However adults visiting by themselves pay the normal fee.
We only allow 6 people in the Grotto this year. We will take any photos you request: children on their own; children with Mum & Dad; children with Nan, etc. Just let Santa know.
Using the magic of green-screen which will be behind you inside the Grotto, our photo elves will be able to show you a choice of festive backgrounds when choosing your photo. Take a look at some of this year's visitors by Clicking Here
